The 66,000 sq.ft. Main Library opened in spring of 2024 and serves as the Rockford Public Library’s main downtown facility. The $40 million library features plenty of natural light and a view of the river from each floor. The mission of the Rockford Public Library is to educate, inform, entertain, and culturally enrich the people of our community.
