Nordic Cultural Center – Swedish Historical Society, Haight Village

The Nordic Cultural Center is located in historic Haight Village in downtown Rockford. The Center is a charming, distinctive space that features artwork in a home-like setting. It is across the street from the Erlander Home Museum, the home of John Erlander, founder of the first furniture factory in Rockford.

Folk Art & Fika: Nordic Traditions Reimagined
Local artists will be featured at this ArtScene. A variety of Scandinavian arts will be highlighted. Such things as block printing on linen, stained glass, and functional and decorative woodcrafts will be available. Additionally, work by Pieper Bloomquist, premier North Dakota folk painter, will be showcased.
