Action Grants

The Rockford Area Arts Council annually administers grants which support artists, arts organizations, and non-profits. This program is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency. Additional funds are provided by the City of Rockford, Amazon, Rockford Art Deli, and generous members.

The Action Grants Program is designed to benefit artists and advocacy organizations by awarding microgrants, up to $500, for creative endeavors throughout the region. Preference will be given to first-time applicants and/or unique projects. Grant submission deadlines are three times/year.

Action Grants will open on January 1 and will be reviewed on a first come, first serve basis until all funds are expended. You will be notified of your Action being received, and notified again if your submission was accepted or not accepted. If you have questions or concerns, please connect with Jordan DeWilde, our new Community Engagement Officer: Jordan@artsforeveryone.com.

Thank you for enriching our community through your creative ideas!
