Tamale Fest features Latin American food trucks vendors from all over the Midwest. Food and drink options include tacos, tamales, margaritas, beer and more. For those who have a high spice tolerance, there is a jalapeño eating contest. Entertainment includes dancing from Ballet Folklorico and Aztec dancers and “Lucha Libre”, freestyle masked Mexican wrestling. There are also various vendors and artists. For car-enthusiasts, there is a low rider car show and hopping contest. The winner takes a $2,000 prize. General admission is $10.
