Norm Knott is a Mixed-media Artist who has been studying Art privately and academically since the age of five. A recipient of more than 35 awards for his artwork; he also received the 2010 Rockford Mayors Arts Award for Art Educator. His work hangs in numerous private and corporate collections nationally and has been exhibited in solo and group museum showings nationwide. He is also represented in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian and Freeport Art Museum. He is a member of the Rockford Area Arts Council, The Kohler Arts Center, The Chazen Museum, The Milwaukee Art Museum, and The Rockford Art Museum. He has been featured in numerous articles and television shows covering his innovative techniques and achievements promoting his unique work of the last several decades. He serves on several Rockford event planning committees/boards and has judged/juried numerous art shows and competitions. He resides in Rockford with his partner of 20 years Steve Beard.
