Sixty years ago, ten amateur artists formed the Rockford Art Guild (RAG) to help encourage and support each other. Over the years RAG has provided education, resources and support to its’ members. The Guild organizes shows for members, such as the annual show at Nicholas Conservatory, Rockford Art Museum, Mendelssohn PAC, Katie’s Cup, Rockford Area Arts Council’s Spring & Fall ArtScene just to name a few. Dee is currently the president of the Rockford Art Guild. To celebrate their 60th anniversary, RAG is creating a MOSAIC of art guild work featuring 60 pieces of 8×8” art produced by present and past Guild members, combined into one mosaic of art telling the story of the Guild – the variety of color and movement and subject reflects the great variety of people and their art that is present in the Guild. The Mosaic Artwork will be shown at the Guild’s show “We are Rockford”, (through June 7th) at the Rockford Art Museum as well as Fall ArtScene in October. http://www.rockfordartguild.com

He’s designed many new projects, logos and even wrote a screenplay.
He just recently moved back to the Rockford area to be closer to family and he hopes to start exhibiting and selling his artwork.
